One of those things that's wicked in theory but so many screw it up in practice by being overbearing, or mixing business with religion, or just by being really insincere and unconscious about their interactions.

That said, a family member has just joined a new MLM (and yeah, if you're passing points and stuff up an "upline," that's what it is) with a great product and I hope she will do well.  We've already bought some off her.  People need different things to get them motivated.  It could be a great learning opportunity.  Just never push anything on anyone.  It's a great way to lose friends fast!</description>

		<description>I don't care for the personal networking myself.  I've had friends try to sell me products that they really believed in, that I know would probably be really good for me.  Sometimes I'll buy out of guilt, but usually I don't because often they are very expensive and sometimes even make some outrageous claim about health improvement. I suppose if you believe it will work, it will, if the placebo effect is true!
